Members of the ZENIO Educational Board (and quotes)
Iain Clarke, Tour manager of Cleveland Golf/Srixon
Iain brings with him 25 years of golf industry experience, having spent the last eight years fitting Cleveland’s leading Tour players. With a background in material science and aerospace engineering, Iain has a unique insight into the technical side of club-fitting.
“In the past fitting and building has been a trial and error process; using ZENIO it is easier to apply what I believe is a more logical and scientific approach, particularly to data collection and application. Having used all the available systems on the market to help players achieve their aims in golf, I am confident that we can bring putter fitting and building to a whole new level and make it accessible to all consumers.”

Martin Cummins, European Tour coach and putting expert
Martin has been involved in putting coaching for more than 15 years. He was instrumental in devising the putter-fitting system used by the PGA of Great Britain and has invented training aids that are used by more than 100 European Tour players. Martin has spent many years studying putter weighting and its effect on the dynamics of the stroke.
“The ZENIO system allows me to closely monitor the benefits of weighting and the individual requirements of each player. This enables me to easily determine which putter specs best suit the player. The information is delivered in a fast and easy to understand manner but what sets ZENIO apart from any other system is that it can be used in the field.”
Torsten Hansson, European Tour coach and a leading mental coach
A specialist in the field of putting, Torsten has been a European Tour coach for 15 years and has coached the Swedish Golf Team since 1993. In addition to working with Tour players, Torsten has also spent many years involved with the Swedish Olympic eam where he gained a reputation as one of the leading mental coaches in sport.
“This is the first time in my career that I’ve found a system that gives me the hard data I need. Having immediate access to information on a player’s rhythm is crucial in assessing their mental performance, and greatly helps me to improve the putting skills of my players.”

Thomas Kiel Larsson, European Tour Ladies coach and Boys Head Coach Danish Golf Union
A former Assistant National Coach in the Danish Golf Union, Thomas specialises in coaching juniors. As the current Boys Head Coach he has achieved considerable success, with his team winning Gold at the European Championships in 2007 and 2009, while the Girls team he coached in 2006 won Bronze. Thomas is also a certified NLP practioner and coaches several Ladies European Tour players
“I am extremely impressed with the mobility of the ZENIO system and the high level of functional training you can do with it. Young players respond extremely well to the use of technology and love being able to see their own improvement in a format they are familiar with. It adds an extra dimension to the development of their putting.”
Olivier Léglise, French Golf Federation coach, joins the ZENIO Educational Board
Olivier is a hugely experienced golf instructor and is a National Coach for the French Golf Federation. He also works with a number of professional players, coaching Gwladys Nocera and Grégory Bourdy. In 2009 Olivier obtained the Five-Star Teaching Award from the PGA of Europe.
“Putting is an area of the game that interests me greatly,” said Olivier. “Although I work a lot on visual skills and the relation to feeling, I also work on technique with players. It‟s then that I need very precise information on the mechanical elements of the stroke. With the ZENIO I can make technical corrections based on what the player is doing. The system also allows the players themselves to monitor their performance, which is a great way of maintaining drive and focus.”
Peter Mattsson, EGU Director of Coaching, joins the ZENIO Educational Board
Peter also works with the regional and national coaches in order to help develop their coaching of around 120 players in the EGU programme. Peter spent seven years as Head Coach of the Swedish National Teams, and is a member of both the Swedish and British PGA. He has a background in both Physical Education and Sports Science studies and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Orebro in Sweden.
”The ZENIO system is everything a coaching device should be,” said Mattsson.” It’s informative, accurate, easy to use and it can be used anywhere. A common problem with most tools for analysing technique is that they only work in laboratory environments. ZENIO is quite the opposite as it is designed for mobility. It presents the key information needed to improve putting, and will give coaches and players a benchmark to work on.”

Claus Molholm, Danish National Coach & Member of the Nordic League Executive Committee
Claus is a former National Team player and a five-time Danish National Champion. He has been the Head of the Danish National Teams since 2000 and has a wealth of coaching experience. He is also a member of the Nordic League Executive Committee.

Patrick has been working as golf professional in Sweden for 23 years. He is the head coach of the Golfgymnasium in Landskrona and is widely recognised as an expert in the field of putting. “With such mobility and immediacy, Zenio is proving a great addition to our coaching programme. The players are improving their putting in an incredibly short period of time and it’s great to be able to confirm that the adjustments we are making are working. Being able to try different putts and measure performance over time is invaluable.”
